Welcome to the Jeffrey Scherrer State Farm Agency. I’ve been proud to serve Lockport, NY as a local insurance resource since 1999, and insurance has truly been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I’m a third-generation State Farm agent — my grandfather opened his agency in the 1950s, my father followed in the 1970s, and I opened my own agency in 1999. Continuing that family legacy while serving my Good Neighbors across Western New York is something I take great pride in. Our office is conveniently located in the Davison Road Square retail complex on Davison Road, and my team and I work with customers throughout Lockport, Niagara Falls, and communities across Niagara County, as well as Erie County and the surrounding areas of Western New York.

What I enjoy most about running my agency is working with people locally — getting to know individuals and families, and being there to help when life takes an unexpected turn. We embrace technology to make things easier, but we never lose the old-fashioned touch. That means returning all phone calls, inviting customers to sit down with us in person, and even making ourselves available on Saturday mornings when needed. For my team and me, insurance isn’t about chasing the lowest rate. It’s about making sure you understand your coverage and feel confident about the protection you have in place.

Outside the office, family and community are a big part of my life. I’m married with three children, all of whom have graduated from college and are now established in their own careers. Our household also includes Casey, our 13-year-old Cockapoo, who is well loved by everyone who stops by the office. I’m an avid golfer, a diehard Buffalo football, and a lifelong supporter of the Buffalo hockey team. My wife and I enjoy traveling, including an annual trip to watch the Bills play in another city, and I stay busy during the winter months with household improvement projects.

I’m also committed to supporting local businesses whenever I can, because strong local communities matter. Those personal experiences shape how I connect with the people I serve — I understand how important it is to protect what you’ve worked hard to build, and I believe in being professional, honest, transparent, and available.
